Kind Hearts

Our Kind Hearts Program has a weekly food pantry for those living with HIV/AIDs, and low income LGBTQ seniors and regularly scheduled congregate meals. Contact Wade Meyer, wade@rainbowcc.org  for more information.

Social and Support Services

Rainbow Counseling Services

Our counseling services provide quality mental health counseling to members of the LGBTQ community, their families, and to those who are questioning their sexual and/or gender identity.We especially welcome gay youth and their families and through the assistance of the Family Acceptance Project, we hope to provide services that will help to keep families together and communicating effectively.Our confidential counseling line is 926.692.2056. Seniors

Senior lunches, a weekly food pantry, social groups and outings are some of our services supporting our senior community.

Youth

Our Youth program is designed to foster a sense of positive self identity for all LGBTQQI2S youth. Our program offers structured groups, social activities, supports from peers and mentors, and a youth drop-in center.

STAND against Domestic Violence

What is STAND in PRIDE?

The STAND in Pride project is a collaboration between STAND for Families Free of Violence, Community Violence Solutions, and Rainbow Community Center. It is funded by Cal-EMA.

Volunteer Program

Volunteering enriches your life and transforms your community. Volunteers are needed to help organize annual Pride Day celebration and special events, speak to community groups, answer phones, staff the front desk, work with LGBTQ youth, visit LGBTQ seniors and people with HIV/AIDS and many other activities.Please call Kas at 925.692.0090 to inquire about our volunteer opportunities.
